The name Solum is drawn from the Latin word for earth — the ground beneath our feet, the foundation on which everything is built.
In soil science, the solum is the living layer of earth where roots take hold, where nutrients cycle, and where life begins. It is the part of the ground that sustains.
We chose this name deliberately. The clean energy transition isn't built in boardrooms or on spreadsheets — it's built from the ground up. From the land, with the people who know it best, for communities that deserve energy security and a stake in what comes next.
